Cardboard Core and Tube Manufacturing in Liepaja

Smartubes is implementing the project “Launch of Cardboard Tube Production” with financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Development Finance Institution ALTUM.

The investment has enabled the setup of a controlled and modern production facility in Liepaja, Latvia, designed to deliver consistent quality and reliable supply to industrial customers in Europe, with a primary focus on the Nordic and Baltic regions.

With the received funding, specialised production machinery and equipment have been purchased and installed, raw materials and production supplies have been secured, and the manufacturing premises have been adapted to meet production process requirements, occupational safety standards, and operational needs.

While Smartubes is a newly established manufacturing company, its management team brings over 15 years of international experience in the manufacturing industry, applying disciplined processes and structured quality control to support long-term supply partnerships.
